I don't think he HAS to. He's really over and looks more crisp/better in the ring than ever. They just have to book him as a man of action because he's really not good at talking.

Sometimes it feels like MJF is trying too hard. HE does get almost 100% heat and no cheers so it works in the arenas, but at home sometimes it feels too tryhard.

He doesn't know how to work structured matches either. He literally just does moves. Potential is there but he needs to work with a heel who can lead him. And in AEW who is that? They need more Christians to smooth these kids over in ring.
