Damn, TNA's branding is so terrible. The show is TNA Bound For Glory, with the 6 year old logo, but the aprons and turnbuckles all of the Impact Wrestling logo. The titles are still called TNA champion ships, with the old TNA logo, but the new Grand Championship has Impact Wrestling logos. Their website is impactwrestling.com, but their shop is shoptna.com. Their twitter is @impactwrestling, but their handle is TNA Wrestling. Their TV show is just called Impact Wrestling with no TNA in sight.

Wtf. Lol at the show opening with Matt and Maxel playing la cucaracha, though. :mjlol:

Lashley spearing EC3 while Jeremy Borash was introducing them is some excellent dominant heel work. I've never seen anyone do that, then he just grabbed JB and told him to introduce him.

Lashley straight up told EC3 that he was gonna beat him while the fans were chanting for EC3 to win and that's exactly what he did.

This level of excellence is amazing, it almost doesn't seem real. Lashley is presented as a beast and the most dominant TNA Champion ever. However, during the matches there's always this feeling that he might lose. He's not dominant to the point where each match is squash, he's dominant because he keeps destroying any challenger standing in his way.

This is one of the main reasons I don't want to see TNA die.

The Hardys entrance was incredible, but The Great War itself was pretty iffy. I don't think the #BrokenSaga works super well in a live setting. It was...something, though.

I'm up to Lashley/EC3. Show has been pretty bad up to this point. When the highlights are The Hardys entrance and Maria's shorts.... Sandow looked absolutely terrible, dying the the crowd already doesn't give a shyt about him or is booing him. Hard reality of why he was never more than a comedy midcarder in WWE. Moose also looked really not good, both physically and his ring work. I thought he was a for star when I saw him in ROH, but he was completely out shined by Mr. Maria, who isn't particularly above average himself.

The state of TNA's roster in that battle royal :sadcam:

UPDATE: EC3 is not a good wrestler

How in the world is Sandow gonna spend most of the time before heading to TNA getting bloated??? He looks :flabbynsick:

All of this. It's so awful. They need sweeping brand changes, all that does is confuse more casual watchers. They need new branding, colors, logo, etc.

Lashley with real talent to work with would be trouble. EC3 is not good in the ring at all, so there was not much that Lashley could do. It's really easy to see why WWE cut him. His promos and character stuff can't make up for that lack of in ring talent, much the same with Sandow, who can't even cut promos anymore, either.

When you look at the TNA roster, it's still almost entirely ex-WWE and ex-ROH guys. Their fresh faces are pretty shytty, the production is just as sterile and lifeless as WWE, the announcing is the worst crew in the game right now. Let's say WWE was looking to buy TNA, the only people worth a shyt to pick up at this point are Lashley and Maria, two talents they already had. TNA is so struggle that one of the people they had main eventing their biggest show of the year was a dude who never even made it past developmental. They hired that god damn French team from NXT, for fukk's sake.

TNA is a dumpster fire beyond Lashley and Maria, plus whatever the fukk the Hardys are doing. At least with WWE, you know you're going to get some high quality matches from show to show. The best match on this show was EC3/Lashley, which was just a scaled down version of a WWE main event.

Yea because Titus O'Neil, Kurt Hawkins, Mojo Rawley, Curtis Axel, Fandango,Darren Young, and DEAN AMBROSE have been cutting it up in the in-ring department :mjlol: this EC3 character (well, the heel version) would be money on the WWE roster. Charisma/mic skills can definitely make up for lack of in-ring talent, and it's been that way for years.
