How I try to make sense of Jimmy's story line:
He wanted The Usos to split from Roman. Got it but got put on the shelf.
Saw Jey get the title shot, didn't want him to get corrupted if he won, so he cost Jey the title.
His explanation to Jey didn't go over so Jey dumped him, Jey went to Raw.
Jimmy basically couldn't handle being by himself so he clung to Solo and Heyman and is trying to get good with Roman again.
Yes it's like getting blood from a stone but that's what I got.
TLDR: Jimmy got separation anxiety.
He wanted The Usos to split from Roman. Got it but got put on the shelf.
