Usyk not gonna be able to hang with the big boys at heavyweight. Nobody is gonna respect his power.

Agreed, i believe Usyk is a good fighter and definitely not hating on him but heavyweight division is a different type of monster. I think skipping the line and going straight to the top guys is the smart play. Only a matter of time before a contender level fighter with something to prove walks him down.

You overrating these HWs, I don’t say Usyk will surely beat the top HWs but they ain’t no monsters, Hunter a former Usyk victim is on a run in HW beating up these big dudes. Usyk is doing a lot of pitty pat shyt that I criticized in the past but it serves a purpose to him by masking his harder shots what he hides in these flurries, if he puts himself behind the punch he has power. It’s not always that straight forward... look at Bellew. Dude got KO by Stevenson at 175, beat Makabu at CW then he ate some big shots from Haye and stopped him twice, Usyk still dropped him like a sack of potatoes. :yeshrug:

Fury got hurt by USS Cunningham, a former CW, Wilder got hurt by multiple sub par HWs, Joshua by Whyte and Ruiz... not saying Usyk gonna tear through them or anything but all of those dudes are vulnerable.

Usyk could fight Takam, that would be a good fight against a good opponent. A normally durable tough guy, normally not the hardest puncher though. Usyk vs Rivas would actually be an ill fight, I’d say Usyk by points but Rivas is resilient and tough. Usyk would destroy Allen, no point doing that as no challenge, Joyce I believe Usyk would beat. Dubois is a tough fight for anybody, his power is a game changer, those are the type of fights that really excite cause you don’t know, Usyk has much more experience but that killer power can be a game changer. Chisora vs Usyk is a good fight, would pick Usyk but Chisora has good power, think Usyk slows him down and outpoints him though. Usyk vs Whyte would be a tremendous fight potentially, Whye’s gameplan would be to bully him, it would be fascinating to see how that worked. Usyk’s speed would cause a problem for him, but if Usyk gets clipped by Whyte he’ll get hurt too. Hughie Fury would be a decent fight for Usyk, Usyk will win but might be a good adjustment fight as another quite big guy. Usyk beats Ortiz, think he’d beat Parker too. Really it’s the big guys that would be the biggest threat, anybody the same size he’s likely beating. Wilder has a killer punch though, that would be entertainment every second, Wilder could get outboxed all 12 or he could land and knock Usyk out. AJ would be fascinating, cat and mouse match. I think Usyk has potential to beat Fury, Fury is a good boxer big he doesn’t hit that hard, his reach, jab and movement would cause issues and his sheer size but Usyk may have a game plan to counter that. There’s potential for really exciting fights, I hope they all happen.
I don’t think Uysk beats Parker Fury or Ortiz. Ortiz isn’t going to let Uysk step around, Parker will be just as quick and much stronger and Fury’s to big, if he turns southpaw he will also negate his step around.

Yall think Usyk should have just got up to 205 from 200 to keep speed and just out point cats? At this point I dont see the 15 pound jump granting him any new power especially at his age where he could just maintain at the Heavyweight min and just weight train and put on some slow real muscle.

Might be true but I think dude’s natural weight shouldn’t be far from this. He wasn’t drained at 200 but he was one if the dudes who had to cut a little weight to fit in.

Agree that he could be 205 too

I think he’d beat the breaks off Ortiz personally. Hopefully could see that, would be a nice step up, but from all accounts so far his next fight at heavyweight will be a world title fight. I think he’d beat Parker, quite comfortably, Parker just can’t box as well as Usyk in my opinion and both aren’t killer punchers really. Fury I agree is a question mark, I think he’s capable but it’s a much more difficult task cause dealing with a giant who can move so well for his size. Fury is awkward to fight, I’d like to see the tactical technical battle though, doubt anybody would get knocked out but it would be good from a boxing stand point. I’m hoping all the fights can happen even if people take losses because styles make fights is even truer in the current heavyweight scene. Ruiz is a beast for example but I can’t see anything other than Usyk beating him.

As someone who also often types long ass posts, it's better if you put some enters in your long texts, way easier to read that way, probably more people read your stuff. These walls of texts don't make it easy to read even if you raise good points.

Let’s agree to disagree, good reasoning. I’m not as high on Ortiz as some but Ortiz is. Southpaw with great armature backround he won’t be phased by that style. He’s going to have the power advantage as well.

Would be good to see, whoever wins would be a good fight, I'd prefer to see him rise up the ranks rather than go straight in but I respect the fact he's willing to, not sure if it's gonna be too early or not yet.
