$10,000 hip hop show budget...

I got 10k to do a hip hop show in NYC...I know this isn't much but ima still reach out to a few people.

If you had this budget who would you book or what approach would you take to make a profit.

By the way this will be my first show I'm putting together

OLD SCHOOL PARTY SONG RAPPERS. ONE HIT WONDERS THAT CAN'T DEMAND MUCH. DON'T THINK YOU GONNA GET MUCH IN THE FORM OF NEW HOT ARTISTS. EITHER THAN OR SOME UP AND COMING LOCALS WITH SOME DECENT RADIO PLAY THAT COULD WORK MAYBE.

you can probably afford any artist (maybe 2 or 3 depending how u do it) that has "contact ______ @ gmail.com for booking info" in their twitter bio..theres alot of em...like joey badass for example

I just spoke with someone for Joey badass...he got a booking agent Peter Schwartz. He gonna ask for arm n a leg. But I know people who are cool with ASAP rocky, schoolboy q n ab soul...I may put up few more dollars if I can book 2 of the above mentioned cats

I thought about this but washed up rappers act like divas and try to jack up prices near show date. I listento their music but can't break bread with them
