I still might stop by the parade after work. On a side note my brother just told me a group of guys bumped into his man at jouvert and one of them pulled out the burner and cocked it, talking about "yea we got it".

His 16-month-old son took a bullet that was meant for him and now it appears a Brooklyn father won’t even help cops find the baby’s killer.

Police are still searching for the thug who squeezed off four shots from a .45-caliber handgun, as Anthony Hennis pushed little Antiq in a stroller in Brownsville Sunday night.

A bullet tore into the left side of the baby’s head and cops found four holes — two entry and two exit — in the stroller on Bristol St. near Livonia Ave. Hennis ran away from the gunfire, screaming that Antiq had been shot.

But ever since, the young father — an ex-con who has been collared 23 times, mostly for drug-related raps — has been tight-lipped with cops. “Mr. Hennis has not been cooperative with us,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

“He has not answered questions,” he added. “We’re still trying to, obviously, determine his contacts — and he has an extensive arrest record, so we are looking into his relationships.”

Hennis’ rap sheet shows he’s no stranger to crime. His 23 arrests — one more than his years on Earth — were mostly for drugs and weapons charges, police sources said. He was arrested in March for drugs in Pennsylvania. He was busted in Brooklyn on June 27 and charged with a slew of misdemeanors, including assault, menacing and choking someone, records show.

He’s due in court Sept. 26 to face a probation violation related to a November 2011 felony arrest in Brooklyn for selling heroin, records show.
