Yeah, they will advise you to get Metamask and not to simply send from your MEW because of the way the contracts are structured.

The Metamask can have multiple Mew wallet/accounts on it, the rentberry mew I have isn't the same as where my other coins are.




Wanchain didn't want to work out for the USA before the draft, meanwhile Nucleus put on a clinic with great fundamentals

You should be able to send directly from MEW , don't think it's necessary to have additional ETH wallets unless you want to vault them offline


Unless I'm missing something, I've only been using metamask and exodus, though exodus wontbshow you new coins bought

The only issue with metamask is its an extension wallet and only works with chrome and Opera. MEW has more capability with going offline and being accessed without a browser add-on. Other than that for buying ICOs and storing them I can't see why anyone would need both MEW and Metamask...but it doesn't hurt either having both, since you can freely send your address/pw between the two (import and export).

That's my understanding.

However. I think Malta point is maybe for nucleus because of the dapps used , it's easier to us metamask or in general metamask is easier to use for moving funds to an ico.

everyone needs to read this, this is why you need an Eth Wallet

you should contact both coinbase and whoever the transferring exchange was. Let them know and ensure you can track the transaction #. I don't think i've read about anyone who successfully got their coins back but rarely do people update once their problem is solved.

Thanks, I have contacted both and gave them the info but haven’t heard back. I’ll post any updates.

about more then a week ago i had bought into TRX and held 132k coins. Just on a few thousand dollar investment since it was so cheap at the time. Everyday id wake up and see big jumps on other coins. saw verge go up to .25 and kept fuming that trx would just go between 240 and 300 but basically never moving (since i had got in anyway)

Verge(xvg) was supposed to come out with a big software update yesterday. I sold trx and tried to time it as i saw big jumps and verge shooting up. only to realise the software never released correctly and my money basically got cutt in half.

Tron out here doing work. What perfectson was saying is essentially what was running through my mind. Mainly being is two wallets really necessary to send ETH to the ICO.

Just to be safe, i got the chrome extension metamask.

So is the QR address in settings the address i use to send the ETH to the the metamask chrome extension?

Getting metamask seemed pretty cut and dry compared to the myetherwallet (which had like 2 or 3 levels of passwords). No complaints, just an observation.
