I disagree only bc of my personal experience trying to get family n friends in this space. They use the same left talking points to tell me why it’s “illegal”. The crusade against crypto by dems was my red pill moment, I realized I was aligning myself with a group that hates to see anyone other than elites have the upper hand.
If obama said “hey this is a way for struggling Americans to reach middle class” there would be more black people invested. BUT NO he implemented Chokepoint 1.0 and Biden followed up with Chokepoint 2.0
demons
The issue is crypto isn’t regulated, and a lot of ppl will get rug pulled and there won’t be anyone to answer questions. I get it.
This shyt is still like the wild Wild West.
Even stupid shyt like the Trump coin. WE all know this man is full of shyt and is only trying to make money, and take profits and leave 99.9% as bag holders, so we know what to do with stuff like this. Ppl who know nothing are going to pile in, be the liquidation for the insiders/folks who got in early, and they are going to go crazy when they lose all their money.
This is like gambling for ppl who won’t do any due diligence. Sharing seed phrases and addresses, etc. I’m still seeing ppl make that dumb mistake and asking questions on Reddit AFTER the fact.
Trump’s administration is promoting crypto because they are going to get even wealthier off the backs of ppl who don’t know wtf they are doing.
WEEEEEEEE can see that, and can capitalize off of it.
Crypto is here to stay, no doubt, but aside from the stable coins, if folks aren’t doing actual research into the various narratives and tech behind projects, they’re basically gambling. Most ppl ain’t willing to actually learn the space.
Politicians CANNOT encourage ppl to enter into unregulated financial markets.
Come on.
Now, things WILL get regulated soon under Trump, which is why I’m so serious and eager about getting some bags set before he starts making things official— we want our positions set and in a good “position” before millions and millions of new ppl start throwing their money in the market. Again- I don’t know much, but I do have an idea about human behavior. Ppl are going to start throwing money into anything that seems popular, anything that has some name recognition, etc. Most ppl ain’t researching shyt. And that’s where a lot of OUR gains will come from in 2025.
That’s how the game goes.
When it is regulated, politicians can tell you to go for it because if and WHEN ppl lose their money, the politicians can tell them that the game is fair and isn’t rigged, so tough shyt if you lose it all.
Most ppl lose all their money, therefore it needs to be regulated before politicians encourage ppl to hop in.
That being said, I’m glad we have a community where we can bounce ideas off each other. Imagine all the ppl who don’t have enough forethought to even do that
