Everybody want a piece. Them CBDCs coming in hot and heavy.

Need the SEC to get their shyt together so we can go where we need to go!
SEC struggling to figure out how to have control over all this shyt so they're dragging their feet on ETF. multiple bitcoin ETFs already exist in many countries around the world. there's no reason why US shouldn't have one already

i'm curious to hear your thoughts. what is the difference between a CBDC and the regular USD?

I'm no expert. But I keep reading about these countries being one foot in one foot out, as far as development. So I figure there is something there long term.

I'm tryna get where you're at as far as knowledge and usage.

yeah i feel you on that. lot of differing opinions as far as individual countries go. difficult thing is that every country uses a certain currency. main one being USD. with euro, gbp, yen, AUD, CAD, swiss franc, being other important ones. El Salvador and Zimbabwe use USD as legal tender and El Salvador legalized BTC. Not sure about Zimbabwe but I know they got their own issues. Ecuador uses USD also and some smaller unknown countries but all of them combined aren't as big as US. Every other country like Europe might have to use their own but i don't see a difference between the cbdc and the fiat if they do the same thing. what is concerning is the control that a government may have on their cbdc. they could be like oh we blocking this site from listing our cbdc or it can only be traded in our country or anything else like that. countries already fight for control of the fiat landscape so i could see the same occurring in a cbdc. they could prolly easily track everyone as well. i'm sure they know what they doing with this.

yeah it takes time but you'll get there. good to learn and appreciate the opportunities given to us and lots of great people on here and online. gotta take advantage while its early and we're still young or somewhat young. just gotta keep building and grinding.

Word the new thing is a social credit score. The battle now is for cefi to gain as much traction before defi catches on. BRICS got em shyttin bricks frfr. Fiat will remain only digital. FedNow drops next year.
It’s wild.

Does anyone still see a future in Dot? The ecosystem is confusing and difficult to use compared to Atom. I plan on selling half and swapping the rest to Atom if Acala works again.

I sold 100 Evmos a few weeks ago at $1.61:francis:
I still have 520 staked so I’m just gonna hold and autocompound. Hopefully the quick silver and Rebus airdrop are good.

I don’t know dot well but I have his younger cousin KSM (tokenomics are fabulous) so I’m rooting for DOT its top 25 so I’m confident it can run. Definitely not performing like ATOM tho.

NEAR went over to Coinbase a couple of weeks ago I think, now Binance has 11.1% staking for NEAR. So will be moving it on over. Looks like all my top ones have staking at the major exchanges, SOL, ADA, DOT, NEAR, ATOM, AVAX etc.

---------------------
about 8 hours 20 minutes till the merge - Sep 15, 2022 2:11 AM

Finally see how this shakes out.

87.3% done already

The ETH foundation is actually going to have a livestream in about 4 hours. What exactly will they be looking at?

"Join Bankless, EthStaker, Ethereum Cat Herders, The Daily Gwei, along with many notable guests and the wider Ethereum community as we celebrate the Ethereum network transition from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake. This event will begin about 1-hour before the merge as predicted by https://bordel.wtf. You can join the viewing an an additional hour before the mainnet merge call (2 hours before the prediction) to participate in a POAP art canvas. Be sure to click the "Notify me" button on YouTube to tune in as soon as the call goes live!"

The one site mentioned in the quote says it will probably happen sooner, about 1:14 am Eastern - Bordel.wtf

Something else to keep on eye on, Railroad Strike, supposed to start this Friday. If that happened, that could devastate economy. I'm thinking they'll figure this out, they have to. But if it actually happens, could be crash/big dip. Railway workers got some crazy leverage right now. Bad economy, midterms 2 months away, I think something will get done today/tomorrow.

"Lawmakers are divided on how to avert a national railroad strike that would devastate an economy already plagued by high inflation.

After years of contentious contract negotiations, nearly 125,000 railway workers are allowed to strike starting Friday, setting the stage for a work stoppage that would halt nearly one-third of the nation’s cargo shipments. "

Amtrak already starting tomorrow:
