Basically they test different things to see if the banks can hold up. Started after 08 financial crash. 55% crash in stocks is pretty significant cuz if it's based on current figures, stocks have been hit hard already. And of course crypto tends to follow stocks mostly so they'll both be affected if something like that were to occur.
