Is it fair to say staking is a good way to make some bread with this? What coins are the best to stake?
I make at least a grand a week from staking tho I'm risking over six figures and been in the game for a little while now so it's not easy. But yes, it definitely is. I had written up a guide recently and I upped it not long ago about staking in cosmos (atom) ecosystem. Page 949 if you on 50 posts per page. Of course shyt has been dipping in price, especially Juno due to some fud related to an issue with a whale that got air dropped more than they should've but over time hopefully bounce back up. Plus staking with a validator better than an exchange cuz those are eligible for future airdrops. I have most of my eth staked as well. I think 75% of the stake on Coinbase and the rest thru my wallet. Other coins I have staked like matic and grt I don't even pay attention to. And the meme coins that give rewards don't really count them cuz they can have huge swings in any direction and don't always have lasting value. But staking in general the way to go.

The first quote is my favorite and life motto.

I recommend setting up a game plan for rewards. I have coins like osmo and juno where I want to compound 50 coins each month and ones like atom where I want to send 10 coins a month to anchor protocol to get some stability. That way I'm taking profits and compounding some stuff for the future. As well as flipping some rewards for other coins. Getting multiple coins staking and a variety of rewards. Do kind of like a split where you compounding 25%, transferring 25% to stables, and using the other 50% to help pay any bills or enjoy it if desired. Have your money working different ways for you and keep saving cuz nothing is guaranteed in this world.

If you're holding and not a trader, it can be worth it. I'm not a trader, so I stake.

About $1,000/week at current levels. About $3,000/week last May and June.

To me, it's simple. If you are going to hold, then you should stake. If you're a trader, than it's different. I tend to hold for the most part. I really only sell my staking rewards when I need too. But, if I'm holding, why not stake and make some extra?

Don't you still need a shytload of eth just to stake and withdraw the tokens tho?! :why:

they let you withdraw staked ETH? the one I have on CB under eth 2.0 said not until 2.0 is released, and the one on ledger said the same thing. Don't know where you pulling your staked eth out of. I think they said like 32 was the minimum to run a validator but with exchanges or lido like on ledger, it lets you group together with other people so guessing thats how I can do it with much less eth.

CB has staking for atom, xlm, dai which is a stable, and I think usdc, but not beneficial since they getting most of the cut. CB is 5% on atom and keplr wallet is 16% just has like a 21 day unbond period I believe but gotta take risks if you wanna make gains.

I have staked the eth under compound I haven't taken it out yet it's been in there for a while...:patrice: I don't believe it's eth 2.0 but the regular one
