if I’d thrown $1k at it on a whim when he posted that, it would’ve been worth about $300k if I sold it on saturday...and there would’ve been more than enough volume on uniswap for me to collect on it
token burns do make stuff more valuable. simple supply and demand economics. let me explain with btc. lets say there are 100 btc in the world. each is worth $50. I have 40 and you have 40 and the btc team has ten. if they burn their ten tokens then that leaves the supply at 80 and our coins are worth more. this is why buying and selling affects price. if you sell your btc out to the market then mine aren't gonna be worth $50 cuz people can just buy from the market instead of from me. the less quantity there is of a product, the more valuable it is to those who own it. like btc has an 18 million supply, thats not even the population of the state of florida which means not every citizen here can have a whole bitcoin. so imagine if half the supply got erased or how many have been lost thru the years, you got more people wanting to buy in but the ones already holding some are like nah motherfukker, this is rare so you gonna pay more for it. don't matter if its crypto, stocks, or whatever. if you hold something in high demand with low supply, you gonna control the value of it.What does that mean??? like make it more valuable or something????
I got called out for dollar dreams a month and a half ago and since then its dropped two zeroes and looking on coinmarketcap the watchlist has gone from 3k to 45k and won't be surprised if it hits 50k soon. Hopefully pika looking like it wants to start a run too.
