So a serious question right now. If I buy $10000 worth of Bitcoin right now, what do you think I should do after? Am I supposed to immediately sell it after? Or is it better to keep that $10k of bitcoin there instead of a weak savings account?
BTC you should hold for a couple of years, for a quicker flip look into ALTcoins as those have had moves as high as 40%+ in one day. (For example ADA :blessed: )even then i'm hearing around spring those should start making even bigger moves.

I don't really see a reason to sell because it seems to inevitably trend upwards without you doing anything but holding it. I would say its more so a retirement nest than a stock investment. Do more research into what it is and how to actually control it so you can see beyond it being a quick flip imo
I'm asking here as my research you guys are being vague.

I don't need the money right now, just want some level of assurance that of i invest in it, it is more worthy than leaving that kind of money in savings.

Ahh I see. In that case, nobody can give you that breh. I have made life changing money off of crypto, and I still am in this cycle, but not even I would be so arrogant as to assure you that its going to do something. I think its likely, but no matter what, dealing with crypto is a form of gambling.

If you need assurance just stick with the traditional equities market IMO. Thats where I keep the majority of my money like most people. This here is on the side.

They will. When regulatory clarity hits, meme coins will dissapear. Shady exachanges will dissappear. And all the coins with utility from the massive movement of money in the market sill run up. I cant wait.

This alt season might be the last one to make money off bullshyt coins.

Bitcoin is like the only legit crypto and it is here to stay at this point. And it’s only gonna keep going up over time. But only invest what you can afford to lose and sit on it. I got in at 2017 and I wish I had more money to invest back then. I still buy in every few months tho.

Bruh I heard about it early around the time I got a PayPal in like 08. I was heavy on internet forums and was very very close to getting some and I ultimately was like nah what is the point of this. If I had a time machine bruh.
nikkas don’t hear you bro. nikkas sent me a link for a coin in 2012. A whole coin and I said wtf is this. Worst choice ever

Not sure if you took the time to post on there our comments or you're just reporting back. No disrespect, but I don't even recognize your name, so I just find it funny when you tagging people and I have no idea who you are.

I'm not really into debating folks who don't really want to understand anything outside of their own bias. It's a damn bitcoin forum, who's gonna hear anything I'm saying?

Aside from my concerns that it's a speculatory asset and not a viable currency, crypto-currency has the potential for unprecedented control over someone's finances if there's a way to eliminate the volatility. Political dissonance, shut it off. Travel to the wrong country, shut it off. Charged (not convicted), shut it off. Exchanging goods and services with someone deemed enemy of the state (rightly or wrongly), shut their account off. Anytime you can be at the whim of person's disposition in that moment...a person. Not an organization, not the government, which is accountable to a system of politicians, lawyers and judges.

That's an ungodly amount of control I'm not happy to give over to an administration that is going to have absolutely no checks or balances.
