Not sure if you took the time to post on there our comments or you're just reporting back. No disrespect, but I don't even recognize your name, so I just find it funny when you tagging people and I have no idea who you are.
I'm not really into debating folks who don't really want to understand anything outside of their own bias. It's a damn bitcoin forum, who's gonna hear anything I'm saying?
Aside from my concerns that it's a speculatory asset and not a viable currency, crypto-currency has the potential for unprecedented control over someone's finances if there's a way to eliminate the volatility. Political dissonance, shut it off. Travel to the wrong country, shut it off. Charged (not convicted), shut it off. Exchanging goods and services with someone deemed enemy of the state (rightly or wrongly), shut their account off. Anytime you can be at the whim of person's disposition in that moment...a person. Not an organization, not the government, which is accountable to a system of politicians, lawyers and judges.
That's an ungodly amount of control I'm not happy to give over to an administration that is going to have absolutely no checks or balances.
