If we can get Beal without getting rid of Bam or Justise...Butler for 4 years isn’t too bad either and I think he’ll be great for Winslow and KZ

I'd give up Winslow for Beal I'm just not attached to the kid like that. Beal is an All Star. Winslow is still an unknown talented player who has yet to find or really settle into his niche in this league. Dont let your sentimental value for homegrown talent (Winslow) make you lose focus when there's a bigger prize to be had.

It's like them fools in 2010 that were in our offseason thread on SOHH complaining about us getting rid of Beasley just so we could sign the big 3.

There's not really a path to Beal without Winslow. There was a point in time we might have gotten Jimmy for less and then used J-Rich in a separate deal but obviously that changed. If we don't do anything else except dump Dragic and add a couple more cheap FA's I'm fine with seeing what Jimmy + improved Bam & Winslow, rookies are able to do this year. The homegrown approach is easier to root for, but I don't think they're done moving pieces.
