I still dont understand our FO's obsession with Jimmy Butler despite all we hear about the guy in the media. I understand some players may have horrible reps but are overall good lockeroom guys but still.

And I mean that for both Kyrie and KD.Either way i doubt KD would come here even if we had cap-room. Cant recall the exact comment but i seem to remember him saying something that made me believe he had some anti-Miami sentiments. I wanna say this was around the finals when we beat them but it was something pointed at Miami as a city.
Never heard of Kawhi's interest but wouldn't surprise me. Either way hindsight is 20/20 and this team had prioritized taking care of their own free-agents after the embarrassing Dwyane Wade CHI deal debacle so i look at it as they felt obligated to restore their reputation as a team that's loyal to their own. I'm cool with the amounts they paid them per year. I just dont like the amount of years. You don't commit to players like Dion and James Johnson for 4 years.

I cant imagine Whiteside and Embiid on the same team. It doesnt look like they care for each other.
