that shyt is massive, but $1.7M could get u a single family home in ANY desirable neighborhood in the city. and in my opinion, the west loop isn't the most desirable for me.

$900 HOA :picard:

only 1 parking space included????

for instance, he's a single family home 5 minutes from the one u posted, that is a comparable size with double the bedrooms and bathrooms, while being 500K cheaper, while including a rooftop deck and 2 car garage without any HOA fees.

🤔… guess it depends on the person’s lifestyle… some want to host… 🤔

Exactly has the weird look like someone just "freshened up" an abandoned building.
Rezoning and converting spaces that were used for other purposes.
It's an aesthetic for sure, a cool lil' party space if you ran it as a lounge.
Somebody's living situation for $1.7 mill? I can't call it capitalism, this straight up greed.
The move been to move out to a small town and build.
But when the culture so tapped into the major urban areas of the same old cities, I fear the disparities will grow and the opportunities will dry up.
Then it's an overreliance on people like this spending money to create the attractions that make these same old cities attractive in the first place.
Nobody tryna move to a one-horse town and wait it out.... especially in their prime.

Livin' for the city, I guess.

We gotta expand and make some new cities hot, this ain't it.
You know I’ve always wondered what’s stopping folks from creating new cities, like let’s take the state of Michigan for instance they theoretically could have a couple big cities, rivaling places California

I guess maybe we don’t want that many people living by the Great Lakes but still, and you can say the same for Wisconsin, Cleveland can be a way better city

Why haven’t they built up places like Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Maine, Utah?

That shyt looks like a lobby for a rent-a-space business. Doesn't look like a home at all. Everything is spaced very far apart and no way can you keep that placed properly heated or cooled without spending a mint.

That's a spot for someone who is never at home and just wants to impress hoes for p*ssy.
