Boom period approaching. A whole lot of new viewers and lapsed fans.

I can see a spike for tonight but undetermined for the long run. It's difficult to assess these things with streaming. Hopefully it's a success. I do feel that humans are typically routine creatures. Meaning that not often do they step away from the norm.

I know for me it's wrestling and football every day of the week. Of course nfl isn't year round. I think now with thursday night football ending, I might just check out the nba games that night. So i can see some of the Monday night football fans needing something to watch and viewing WWE instead. Of course that could be those who watched before or who watched anyways just not live. It's hard to tell.

I'm wondering how many fans had netflix before or how many added a subscription for Raw. I don't know how many people are randomly browsing netflix on any given night without having something set to watch or do already. Good thing about netflix is all the content on there not wwe related. Let's see if they release numbers and if it's lots of growth or if lot of fans going on streaming sites instead to save on the cost.

They do gotta take advantage if tonight is successful and be consistent with the show and everything. Lot riding on it. Hopefully they treat every episode like it's important. Now that they heading into mania, it's something that's possible.

To me it's not even about that. Attitude Era had a ton of trash and some of the stuff from the 80s is super boring. It's more about having a talent or two that pop culture just gravitated too. I'm talking Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Game Thrones, NFL center of attention. The past booms had Hoe-gun, Andre, Macho, Austin, and Rock. I think Roman, Cody, Punk, and Cena are all pretty popular but there’s levels. But maybe great booking and high exposure can get them there.

Referring to the current four you mentioned. All are around 40 or older. Compared to Hogan and Savage that were around early thirties when Mania 1 came around and Austin who was early 30s when Attitude Era was starting up and Rock who was around late 20s.

So while those 4 are great, I wonder if they should get the next generation showcased more in order to get ready for the future. The popular 4 can draw in fans and lead off the netflix era but they gotta have great booking with guys like Bronn, Melo, and Dominic to set them and guys like that up to be mania main event stars for the future.
