Okada then announced Jay White as CHAOS' newest member. White, who revealed at New Year Dash he will be going after Kenny Omega and the IWGP U.S. Championship, said the alliance benefits him because he knows he couldn't take Bullet Club on alone. However, he told Okada not to get too comfortable, and that one day he would come after the IWGP Heavyweight Championship as well.
White went on to question why wrestlers in New Japan so rarely challenge champions within their respective factions. He said he wants to change that attitude within the company so that everyone is striving to be the best, even if that means challenging allies for championships, and that doing so would only benefit New Japan as a whole.
The Switchblade asked Okada for his opinion on the matter. Okada pointed out it is rare for teammates within factions to find opportunities to compete against each other outside of the G1 Climax, but agreed regarding the potential impacts of such matchups. Okada also cautioned White not to get too far ahead of himself with his ambitions, and said he is not yet mature enough to challenge Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight title. White said they would find out in due time, but for now is content to have fun with his new alliance with CHAOS.
At least that's something different
