Jay White vs Tanahashi for the IC has also been confirmed breh @3Rivers at least Gedo is working on his next big gaijin and it's a talented dude so I can't hate too much on that..shouldn't be for the strap though, why the fukk he doesn't pull the trigger on a legit big draw like Ibushi boggles my mind lazy fukk

I thought about the whole Ibushi/Kenny thing and wondered if they aren't setting Ibushi up to chase Jay White if he wins on Jan 4th.

They've made Ibushi look like Tana's little homie - from the way he reacted when Tanahashi called him out to the hug at the end of the match. Jay White gives him that work and then Ibushi chases him for revenge, and finally wins next summer.

If Kenny is leaving in 2019, that gives Ibushi something to do, before they get to the last reunion match at the dome.

That sounds interesting, I have no faith in Gedo doing it though Personally, I think it was easier and safer to give Kota the IC, make him main event as much as possible (and cash in on Omega/Ibushi) before he decides to go for his next experiment for his Research Institute all the while you build Jay White to be the one that beats Ibushi before he leaves.

How do you carry out negotiations for a contract with a guy who is pretty much the wrestling version of Tom Hanks in 'Big'?

If they want him to stay, they need to buy him his own fireworks factory. Ibushi Pyrotechnics - the stock that can't miss
