His match doesn't have a lot of heat but he's going to surprise a lot of people with his skill level at the Tokyo Dome. They wouldn't put him 3rd from the top if they didn't know that he's awesome already at 25.

White was always a big prospect though he's basically getting the Okada treatment but the gaijim version. He's clearly set up to take Kenny's spot if he decides to leave soon. I'm glad new blood will be given the chance to shine.

Happened to suddenly get AXS TV, watched Omega/Okada from WK with JR and Josh commentary. Came away with the same opinion when it happened a year ago: A half hour of bullshyt filler and then 15 minutes of a spotfest with no story other than "keep kicking out". It's why I thought the G1 match was the best of the trilogy, as the time limit forced them to just go into the spots and bumps right away and not bullshyt around in trying to build up an "epic" match. No one is looking for Kenny to have 45-60 minute matches. And it's obvious he isn't very interested in that either. He just wants to do cool shyt and big spots, and people just want to see him do cool shyt and big spots.

Dreading if Jericho/Omega ends up being a 30 minute match, because even Okada can't keep 10-15 minutes of filler interesting with Kenny, and no fukking way is Jericho going to be able to do that after the past 2 years of having trash matches with AJ/Cesaro/Sami/KO/Neville/etc where all he had to do was try to keep up in a 10-15 minute TV match with commercial breaks.

I agree with Ole for once :ohhh:

I'd be surprised if Omega/Jericho goes that long. It seems Jericho wants to have a bloody brawl or at least start that way before Omega does a flippy filled comeback. That sounds more compelling on paper than letting Omega and Chris do meaningless shyt for 20 minutes :heh:

If somehow all this build was for Jericho to try to go sporñt for spot with Kenny then it would be hilariously sad :mjlol:

I mean...WWE did that with Jericho/AJ and AJ literally had to power walk the ropes instead of run to make sure Jericho could keep up. And this was literally 39 year old AJ. After years and years of absurd bumps in TNA. He legit had to power walk instead of run the ropes for Jericho. And Kenny is years younger, used to much faster matches, and Jericho has been working WWE style matches for 20 years.

That's why I think Jericho wants to have more of a brawl. As much as he may want to show he still has "it" athletically, he knows the only way the match is memorable is if they do something different to what Omega has been doing lately, at least in the beginning. We all know the match is gonna be filled with high spots and kick outs in the last 10 minutes, but what they do before that is were I think Jericho will do better than his last WWE run.

You can harp on him for letting his ego fukk up his matches with AJ by trying to have a type of match he can't have anymore. But Jericho is also the dude that in the middle of the Michaels feud had a hated filled brawl that was vicious as fukk, specially for WWE. After watching the build up I have faith he'll try to do something like that at WK.

If I'm wrong I'm wrong though :manny:

Seeing Tana da GOAT not even second to last on the card makes me :mjcry:
Tanahashi had a great run and his time in the sun and I respect the fact that he knows its time to let the new young hungry lions to have that prime spot to prove themselves and I :salute: for that.... unlike most veterans that we know that for no reason at all is always

:francis:Thinking of resubbing just for WK, but ugh....that card and the added fact that ShibGOTA is not murdering dudes for the sake of opening up 2018 just is a depressing state of affairs. Hopefully Naito wins it but I doubt it :lolbron:
