They shouldn't let Jay White win the heavyweight title again until the time period between The Best of the Super Juniors and the G1 Climax. Have Naito win both belts at Wrestle Kingdom and have Will Ospreay be his rival for the title after he drops the Jr. Title belt to Time Bomb.Usually they have the winner of the NJ Cup challenge around April so probably not. I could see Ospreay win the NJ Cup this year.

I like Okada, that being said I thought it was a big mistake to give him the title back at the G1 Supercard. Maybe it was because of the confusion of Omega & The Elite leaving New Japan, but they should have let Jay White hold on to the belt, at least it would have been fresh match ups and scenarios for the heavyweight division.Yeah I think it's time to go all in on Ospreay this year. I know a lot of people on here don't like him but I think he's had a great year and he could be their next Omega. I would have him win the G1 next year.
The one thing that I think they cannot do is keep Okada as champ. I love him and he is obviously a hugely successful draw but he has no fresh main events left. I feel like his current title reign has felt flat. There hasn't been that many standout title defences. His match with SANADA wasn't on the level of their matches in the NJ Cup and G1. He needs to do something new. I dunno what it is because the thing with Okada is he feels out of place anywhere other than the main title scene.
Last time he lost the title they had him have a mental breakdown and come out holding balloons
I'd like to see a new heel stable. That' something Okada could occupy himself with without a title. Or maybe a new version of Suzuki-gun if Suzuki leaves (Sabre-gun w/ Luke Harper as a goon

Nah, I think people feel like he hasn't gotten his just due cause of that one short ass title reign he did have but he's definitely made with the fans. Naito could lose 5 times in a row and still be the 1st or 2nd most popular guy on the show.
He's made but he really hasn't had that stand-out moment. They should have pulled the trigger at WK12, but what is done is done. I was just imagining the nuclear heat White-o would have gotten if he would have had a tainted win against Naito and won the belt
