He was one of my picks, yeah. And even if he wasn't going to win, why have Reigns eliminate him? They just randomly inserted him into the match to build up a WM match I have no interest in seeing.
And Orton winning was just.....bizarre. If Cena winning number 16 was supposed to lead to this, then they should have just let Styles keep the belt.

The last completely fun Rumble was in 2014.
Bray/D.Bry was good.
Cena/Orton started off awful and then the crowd chanting Y2J and Cena doing the Walls of Jericho then him and Orton going "fukk it" and going off script.
The Rumble was fun as hell too. Shield Bros, Torito fukkery, Kofi fukkery, Punk fukkery, the crowd being on point booing the fukk out of Rey Mysterio and the rest of the match. Now that was an organic crowd reaction.
That shyt had me in stitches. #30 they give to Rey when they wanted Bryan.
I know people are saying something about AJ/Shane, but I still think a better match and story would be AJ vs Finn at mania in like Raw vs SD Bragging rights...bullet club vs bullet club.
Because he was the champ going in.... you people aren't this dumb...How did Reigns get a Rumble slot but :styles: didn't

Don't really know how to feel about it since the only thing I feel like they really set up was Taker vs Roman & Brock vs Goldberg & I don't really care about either of those matches

I was shocked at how well the first 10 entrants were booked. shyt flowed great and there were fun little stories and exchanges.
After that shyt was mostly filler until the part timers came out. Some cool moments in between but nothingworthy. Which made no sense because none of the part timers lasted long nor mattered for the ending so we ended up with like 20-30 minutes of filler without much action.
Orton winning is the Sheamus win all over again. Just a last minute call to "shock" people...though I guess it wasn't that last minute as he was the odds favorite today.
shyt pretty much went downhill as soon as Corbin eliminated Strowman. A bunch of never ending midcard filler guys, followed by the part-timers and Taker looking a million years old, then the Roman tease and an incredibly weird Orton decision that I'm still trying to comprehend right now.
Like, if they're doing Bray/Orton for the belt (baffling in and of itself, since it doesn't seem that hot in comparison to, say, a Cena/AJ WM match), just have Bray win and have Orton take the belt next month.
I dunno. I didn't hate it or anything, but there was some really strange booking going on in that match.
