Cody caught COVID so he couldn't defend the belt in his re-match with Sammy.
Dustin was slotted in as Sammy's opponent and the match was changed to crown an interim TNT champ.
Once Cody came back he and Sammy would have a match to unify the two TNT titles.
That match is happening next week.

Here's the main issue to me: Someone HAS TO LOSE. Yes... you cannot protect everyone all at once.

We should be getting Team Taz vs. Christian or Miro vs. Hangman or Bryan vs. Mox etc.. on a regular basis... They have a piff roster. But everyone protected.
