I was thinking the same thing. It seem forced
I don't think they are playing him as a straight heel. Hell, I still haven't reached any conclusion what kind of heel that he is yet... He has been all over the place with slowly being developed. I get more of unhinged "Brain Pillman" Ziggler than straight heel. They are still in the process of getting fans to boo him. It's working, and slowing transitioning his persona. It's when they drive that persona up to 11 when we get a better grasp what kind of Heel Dolph this is...He's good as the cocky show off heel, but they are trying to play him off as straightright now and that doesn't fit his personality or his acting capabilities. He's too soft spoken. Sounds like a kid even though he's damn near 40. He needs a valet to help carry the promos.
