I don't think AEW has that luxury right now, if anything they should be putting all their top guys in the ring consistently to make sure that if AEW is coming to your city in 6 weeks, you can buy a ticket knowing that you'll see MJF/Swerve/Lashley/etc. Of course they don't all need to be wrestling on the same show but it should be a rarity for those guys to not at least appear and cut promos etc. Nobody in AEW deserves a Roman Reigns schedule while the arenas remain half full and the viewership sinks. If they wanna go with that "Where the best wrestle" tagline then an extension of that should be them priding themselves on having their top stars wrestle on TV consistently. The only guys they should be holding off on are Okada, Omega, and maybe a few select others
While that is a good point, I don't mean keeping stars off tv, since many will be there. I mean as far as who will be interacting with who for the foreseeable future. Like what be feuds will be built up. It's like the Raw after a PLE. Yeah the champ will be there but you don't know who may come out to confront them to setup for the next event.
Plus there are only a limited number of hours of tv time each week so it's not fair to split stuff evenly among everyone since they all aren't equal. They focus more on the main stars and the tag division and women fall behind and people complain, and vice versa if the other way.

i looked back to mid November about 6 weeks and those were the stars on Dynamite that night, and other than Juice being injured, and Britt, they all been mostly been featured thru out the shows. Most fans don't buy tickets 6 weeks in advanced so they at least know closer to the event what they can expect.
Other than major injuries, filming stuff, or contract issues like Ricky and LB, they haven't really been keeping people off for too long. Maybe Toni but that's likely related to her storyline. Not to mention that a lot can change in 6 weeks, shoot even 6 days.
