Also, how did you get home? I was  at how long public transit would've taken and went with Uber instead...but then Uber wound up screwing everybody over by forcing us to a pickup location nobody knew how to find:bryan:. It was mad people on the phone yelling at drivers and getting rides cancelled. What should have been a 12:30 arrival time home turned into 1:30. I was better off taking the bus and train back:martin:
I just walked as much as possible to a further stop. LIRR was coming at like 1:30, so we just kept walking through queens until we found an emptier station.
I still got home around 2-3. Next time, I'm driving for sure because it seems like the lots weren't that packed.

No, there have been some great matches on tv this year: Josh Alexander/TJP,
DMD/Thunder Rosa,
Lashley/BigE/Roman,
Bryan/Roman,
Lashley/Orton/Big E, among others.

:whoo: When did Lashley, Roman and E happen?

I haven’t been able to watch WWE these two weeks

I thought bloodline vs new day happened this week? :damn:

STOP IT

PLEASE

it was a good match but that is it stop acting like it was an all time classic from the first few minutes you could tell they were working to a draw ...

their next match will be a classic but this wasn't no classic .... people gotta stop trying to force everything and just enjoy it for what it was
it was a classic boy, shut up

It'll be interesting to hear Jim Cornette praise a Kenny Omega match on his podcast :heh:
He'll just do what he did when he reviewed the match against Christian when he lost the Impact Title.

He prefaced it by saying "You'll never get me to like Kenny, fukk him. But because it's against Christian, I'll try to view this match as if it's some wrestler I've never watched before. And I tried, but I can't unsee it" and then just further went in on Omega and his whole style.

Aka he liked the match and thought it was good, but his hate can't let him openly admit it.

He'll probably do the same here

Bloodline vs New Day did happen!
Lashley vs Big E vs Roman was on the same show, and it was great!

If you want to know how-->
Raw opened with The New Day vs The Bloodline, and then Lashley came out and killed everybody.
During the show Big E, and later Paul E. went to Adam Pearce & demanded a match with Lashley.
They had a damn good match/brawl/ass kicking session in the main event.

damn it really is surreal that I just watched CM Punk wrestle at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens in 2021:wow:

I just watched a clip of the opening, TV could never do justice to the pop when Danielson's music hit, or the shower of boos for Omega.

match was amazing. I think some of yall are going overboard calling it one of the best ever though:mjlol:

I can't stand Omega but I was ready to give him a chance for this match and shyt delivered.

I fukking hate all those chops too, but I overlooked that as well, for the moment

show was legendary. venue was perfect. crowd was hype. yeah they started on a high note they were never gonna match, but oh well. and yeah ruby soho was trash but the crowd made the match fun anyway.

like I said earlier, neckbeard ratio was low enough, good amount of brehs in the building, no complaints at all.

I'm seeing some rough travel stories but I had it smooth. we left when the show ended, slid through the crowd and got on that first 7 train. standard late night subway fukkery. had to transfer once, wasn't bad at all.

Crowd booed the fukk outta Cody. The crowd reactions to Cody/Black were eerily similar to that of HBK/Sid back in the 96, where the "face" was booed out the building. They definitely gotta turn him now

they have to still be leading to a full on heel turn. they had to know Cody was gonna get booed like a mf in New York. or does he completely lack self awareness?
