To me this reminded me of his matches with Aries, Nigel, Jay Briscoe and etc. Everyone does have to learn the WWE style... but we all know by now its not necessarily the best style and hence why many either struggle with it or are anxious to get away from it.

Go watch Bryan's matches from Smackdown this year. You'll see him working the style he worked tonight.
I know you hate the WWE, but thousands of wrestlers have learned that style (and still used it after leaving the company). The only real major star who wasn't able recently to learn the WWE style was Mistico. Pretty much everybody else learns it just fine.
