Yeah, they hotshotted it a bit but they might as well do an Ironman or no time limit match at the next PPV at this point. I do think Hangman needs to be the one to take the title off Omega though.

I wouldn't even mind if they trade the belt in the feud but im with you on Hangmayne being the one to run w it after Omega.

If Page ain't back til the week after Full Gear than it changes everything.

Like in that case you'd have Dragon Omega 2 at Full Gear with Omega retaining? I wouldn't want that match to finish by shenanigans and I dunno how I'd feel about Danielson being led into a draw and then a defeat in his main run.

Very hard to predict. Only way you wouldn't cause a riot is by involving Kota Ibushi by having him interfere and lead Omega to retain and then you'd give the fans a potential Kenny and Ibushi vs Hangman and Danielson match the next week at Page's hometown and then have Page win.

You'd need something like that to have that pass

Send Ibushi for 2 months and send Moxley/Kingston for a Japan run

I guess they have two choices.

-Go immediately for a rematch at Full Gear. Omega should retain. I'm legit unsure if it hurts Danielson to be 0(he'd probably get at least 1 W on tv prior to the PPV though) -1-1 so early but it doesn't make sense to end Kenny's reign with him, specially in this context. And we all know Dragon gives two fukks about taking Ls so there's no issue in that department.

-Take the long route and force Danielson to get back in line for another match and have him get in couple of rivalries before facing Kenny again at Revolution. Page should take the title in the mean time from Omega to free him up and have them go balls to the wall and leave everyone happy. By that point no one can be hurt by taking the L.

I shoulda listen to breh I talked to after the show who lived in Bushwick and said just take the bus and train If I would've taken the seven train and transferred I would've gotten home at the same time I eventually did but minus all the headaches.

the one thing I know I can count on in nyc is that a subway or bus will pull up eventually

By AEW's own standards that number was good. Obviously with expectations of Omega-DB and comparison to Raw its short, but with a season premiere week that should have been expected

They shouldnt trip though, long as they got word of mouth and keep doing their thing, they'll be fine

I thought cinematic matches were AEW’s way of protecting Sting

They were clearly to protect his opponents from what we’re now seeing.



















I don’t know how he’s pulling this off at 62 but it’s fun as hell to watch

The Dynamite after Full Gear is in Adam Page's hometown so they might give the title to him at the PPV. I wouldn't blame them if they pulled an audible though. Bryan vs Omega is way bigger than Page vs Omega right now.
