When people look back on this show they're going to be pissed, because outside of Trae Young showing up they really didn't do anything special and it was still great. This goes to show what happens when you book things logically and don't get in your own way.

It's because she's not a believable badass or chickenshyt heel. Look at Bianca(NXT), Sasha, Bayley, and even Charlotte, they're believable because they know how to lean into what makes them heels. Even when she was a babyface as "The Man" it was cringey but people loved her. It also goes to show that not every wrestler needs complete creative freedom, because this heel stuff was all Becky's idea.

They don't need to counter AEW because the hype is all manufactured, that 1.3 rating is a big disappointment after all the signings and hype they got after All Out. I thought having Danielson on the show would get them at least a 1.5 especially with zero competition.

I will say in the last 3-4 weeks since I picked wrasslin back up last night's SD was the best show I've seen, Dynamite & Rampage included. It showed SD's clearly the flagship and I didn't see much in terms of surprises that they wouldn't be able to do every week if they wanted to, they just don't want to. Or they feel they haven't needed to yet.

Whatever it is hopefully it changes and RAW gets up to par too
