Gall faked the punch which was enough to catch someone as inexperienced as Punk off guard and once he got the double leg takedown it was over.

Punk was one of my favorites when he was wrestling so I wanted him to do well. I don't get guys hating on him for following something he wanted to do. It's not like he went into it all cocky or expecting to anything. At least not in anything that I've seen. He knew he was gonna have his work cut out for him and did what he could. Selfishly, I do wish he'd go back to wrestling though.
