I may be in the minority but I would be down for MJF as a chickenshyt world champion who cheats, uses interference from Wardlow or just gets disqualified to retain his title.

The most notable thing about this version of the movie was that it seemed like Vincent D'Onofrio was dropped into Magnificent Seven from a prestige Oscar bait movie. Dude was doing some serious acting while everyone else just seemed to be there to play dress up and cash a check.
