Pretty sure the whole point of that was to sell the idea Edge would be champ if it weren’t for the ref being out. If he kicks out with the crowd counting that defeats that whole narrative.

Edge sounded silly tonight saying he should be champ when we all saw Roman kick out at 2 even without a ref being there. :unimpressed:

I’ll give Rome the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn’t realize the new ref wasn’t in the ring yet and thought the crowd was counting because the ref was in the ring counting. Even that’s iffy but I guess it’s possible.

I mean yeah that's probably the real reason.

But in kafaybe Roman ain't letting them punks count the 3 on him. :banderas:

Decent.

Rolling Loud section could have been better but the crowd was whack.

You gotta watch Cena at the start and Roman at the end. :dead:
I got off wrestling twitter and looked at people reviewing the entire night, and apparently this was one of the worst crowds Rolling Loud has had. Carti was trending because of how bad the crowd was, so it seems like people were more interested in being outside than watching the artists. Having said that what the fukk were they thinking sending Dawkins and Gable there?:mjtf: At least Bianca was able to get some kind of reaction from those weed head white folks, which goes to show just how much of a star she can be.:wow:

No one but Cena likely would have done anything for that crowd.

They're gonna sacrifice another top NXT star for the main roster's sake? Heyman was hilarious in that opener. I like the whole not accepting Cena's challenge approach like who's you? All these dudes held the pandemic era down for you to come back and demand the ME at summer slam. Oh hell nah, back of the line.

yes I know Cena's held down the company for 2 decades and the SS match is money, but still. :shaq2: fukk him.

I’m still watching but Some early thoughts

why not have big E at the festival so wale could have did his entrance live. Since it is a concert?

IF you wanted to do the street profits why not have a tag match or something that would entertain the crowd? Why would anyone care about a singles match between two tag teams?

Carmella was the wrong choice to be out there she ain’t over.

They didn’t capitalize on this opportunity instead they gave us the same middle of the show booking.
