AA doing their AA stuff kind of stopped working before they even got called up, then they just weren't over for whatever reason, and it wasn't just booking because they were doing the same stuff they were doing in NXT on SD and people didn't seem to care. This is better than what he was doing on SD (all of ONE appearance on TV in 3 months, as a warm body in a battle royal), although the fans didn't seem to react at all when he came out. Vince obviously sees something big in him and is hoping to use Angle's popularity and legitimacy to hot shot him up the card. But it's definitely going to be a sink or swim thing, and I fear he'll sink due to his lack of promo skills and having to be part of a full blown fukkery sports entertainment angle.

There was no build up for them at all. They rarely had promos and overall there was never a reason to care for them. Sure, they practically willed crowds into their matches cause they're both good wrestlers, but outside of that, nothing. The rare times they did have promos, they came off as douche fratboy heels. Add on to the fact the Usos and Breezango become much more interesting than AA ever had been. Plus with New Day on SD now, there really was no room for AA. This is make or break for both of them now

They had zero development of any kind in NXT the last 4-5 months they were there, too. I'd argue they had no development at all after once actually becoming a team. All of their development came from becoming a team and then...they were just the team. No characters, just guys doing their Steiner/Angle thing every week. That's what they were doing on SD as well.

They are so stiff in the ring, now. They either have great psychology or really gas themselves out in 5 minutes that gives the allusion of great psychology. They so out of shape and hurt that I don't know.
