Jesus Christ this is an out right lie. Miz is actually one of the few people on this pathetic roster that gets a reaction. He may not get the reaction that you all are expecting for his push, but he still gets more heat than most of the other heel superstars.
Punk was never over when he was a heel. Even when he was feuding with Meth at the height of his career, he started getting heat for the first month and that was because of the surprise factor and he was pulling out all the stops. But it slowly started fading. Then the SES happened, where he was the leader of a stable. Do you understand how easy it is to get heat as a stable leader? An yet he manage to stink up on the microphone with those boring soliloquies he called promos, getting no reactions. Irrelevant throughout 2010. Inherited Nexus and still didn't get reactions, until in struck gold and got one of the best storylines in years.

Don't try to rewrite history.

Bullshyt

While Punk got over with the fans naturally, through word of mouth and decent buildup back in 2007, The Miz was pushed to the moon in a tag team with Morrison that had ZERO HEAT. Everytime they did their live Dirt Sheet segments the crowd was :dead:. You realize how painful it is to watch corny jokes about wrestlers no one cares about FROM wrestlers no one cares about?

Punk did way more with less, then he found his niche as a smart-aleck. Miz hasn't even developed a decent moveset yet.

The energy was sucked out the building WAY before that. They honestly should have just given him the mic, and let him shoot on the business for 20 minutes to wrap up the show. That would have been better than the Main Event.

I like how some of you like to act as if Punk wasn't pushed heavy when he was on Smackdown. For Christ sakes, he's a two time mitb winner.

Yes, Punk was naturally over, when he first came to the wwe. But what happen, he got boring and was your typical cookie cutter face over time. The fans took notice of that and didn't have time for him anymore. Got his first championship that was very forgettable. Even the MIz as champion got more reaction than Punk did when he was champion. Ratings were completely down also.

I don't care how hard The Miz was pushed, my point is, he got more heat than Punk did when he was a heel. Which is completely unacceptable because Punk was feuding with Hardy when he was at the height of his popularity. Fact is, heel Punk doesn't translate well with the live.

Actually, fact is, Punk's first reign as champ back in 2008 or so brought ratings up higher than they've been outside of Mania season.

You "don't care" that Miz was pushed hard and shoved down throats? That's the whole point, dude. Let's look at them since 2009 or so:

Punk was getting sonned by Mysterio on a daily basis, and his enforcer was almost as pathetic as Chavo's back in ECW. The Nexus he was "given", as you put it, was damn near dead and buried after the brutal sonning by John Cena. It's like saying a guy's lucky for inheriting a mansion that his uncle used to let his pet monkeys shyt and piss in all day.

At the same time, Miz was getting pushed against John Cena almost out of the gate when they started his then-renewed singles run. All that, and the crowd still barely cares about his bland ass.

Meanwhile, Punk started running his mouth a bit more, and bam, there it was--instant top tier face on the flagship show.
