That said, what's up with all these blowouts during the NBA playoffs this year?

Issue is the shot distribution because they killed midrange game and it's mainly just 3 pointers and isos. Teams are pretty much opting to die by the threes and if shots aren't hitting it results in these blowouts we've been seeing. Also defense sets is alot of switching on everything which leads to mismatches getting exposed
