How is it pointless? It advances his story with the Bloodline.

And they not going to do a heel vs heel (Tama and Melo) semi final match.
It’s just dumb to have an established vet like Randy beat an upcoming star like Melo. If they wanna build the Bloodline feud why not cost Randy the match? KOTR was built around pushing talent. Even though he’s likely not Winning it, Randy doesn’t need to go far.

Melo is not going to be affected by that L at all.

Perhaps, but Randy taking a L to Tama would do a lot to establish this Bloodline as a force to still be reckoned with. Besides, Melo not only held his own with Orton, he beat a former King of the Ring in Corbin. He's aight.

Corbin isn’t Orton and will never come close to him. And the Bloodline is already an established stable and will continue to be that. They’re not an upcoming stable trying to get their name known. Tama wining the entire thing ( ) is the only way it keeps the stable looking strong, it doesn’t matter if it’s Orton or Melo who he beats.

Two scenarios I see. If Jey wins, Tama is winning. If Gunther wins, Orton is winning.

and if it's Jey and Tama they could have that be the debut of Jacob Fatu. Just a theory and of course I could be wrong and likely will be. :troll:
