Bad writing.
Bad character work.
Woulda worked much better if he'd disingenuously been like 'no... don't. Don't hurt my friend Michael Nakazawa' while walking away from the ring. Then Mox just jumped him while he's walking away. Done. Don't need Cutler, don't need the cartoonish evil bullshyt from Omega, don't need Kingston to look dumb turning his back to his opponent to get jumped in the first place. The whole segment was idiotic. It's the curse of excess - they're eternally doing too much, even when doing less would help them. And it's a microcosm of AEW as a whole lately.
Passionately committed to doing as much as possible. It's like it's booked on alternating rails of Adderall and Coke - full throttle and hyper-focused; ignorant to everything but a singular thing in a vacuum.
