WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized on Monday night as a result of complications from the blood clot in his leg that prevented him from wrestling in Japan back in January.

Flair was scheduled to appear on tonight's RAW and was backstage at the arena in Philadelphia during the afternoon. WWE medical staff checked out Flair's leg this afternoon and immediately made the decision to pull him off the show and send him to the hospital.

Flair was examined at the hospital and advised to return home to Charlotte for further treatment.

Flair was scheduled to participate in a segment with Jerry Lawler and Bret Hart, where they would have discussed the upcoming John Cena vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 29.]
