Funny you say that. I heard for the first time that Heyman was supposed to manage Benoit, but they made a last minute decision & put him with Heyman instead. After WM30, they put Heyman with Cesaro and it was a disastrous flop because they took away the Real American theme song & catch phrase from him. But then again, they had Heyman treat him as a second priority to Lesnar.

Wasn't this around the same time they tried to pair Ryback with Heyman.... then they started to make out and got banned from Harlem effectively ending the partnership?
