I always thought she was average. She’s had decent matches here and there. I enjoyed the match with Conti.

Thats the problem someone who's been champ for over a year being described as average. She has no business in that position

Britt no selling all the big spots in that match were :patrice:

Glad Thunder Rosa won. Hope they move forward and we don't get another month of rematches. The women's division has been so focused on Britt (and Jade) that they are going to struggle making the next opponent seem credible. If they didn't job Mercedes out she could have could have been next.

Great to see Rosa win but that match was no bueno. You're already in a steel cage, why so many chairs? This ain't helping the "Britt is only good when she bleeds" narrative that I've seen :usure:

Great to see Jeff back, that bald spot though Matt :picard:

Let the MJF/Wardlow feud commence :blessed:

Billy Gunn says he’d be down with the idea of a New Age Outlaws reunion in AEW, if Road Dogg was game for it. The AEW star spoke with Wrestling Inc for a new interview, and you can see some highlights below:

On a potential New Age Outlaws reunion in AEW: “I would love to, and I think Road Dogg would like to come in. But, he doesn’t want to do any wrestling stuff. I think he would be awesome for promos and a producer and stuff because he’s very good at that. He’s probably one of the best guys on the planet to do that, all the backstage stuff. Yeah, would it be fun to see us as a special attraction, like the lion that’s covered up?

“I think it would be fun for the people to see us, if they heard the, ‘oh you didn’t know,’ they would probably lose their minds. I’m thinking they would. It would be great to have him here because like I said, we still have an awesome relationship. He’s probably the one that I have the best relationship with in the wrestling business anyway.”

On his relationship with Road Dogg: “We were just together at a signing and the boys were there and it was like nothing had changed. Because we hadn’t seen each other for a long time, like a couple of years. Other than a ‘hey, how’re you doing,’ through the airport kind of thing. Because we both had what we were doing. He was with somebody else, I was with another company. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t talk to each other. So, yeah, it would be fun to do some stuff, because when we’re together, we are like little kids.”

So I finally got the chance to sit down and actually watch the cage match. I went in with an open mind because there’s no way in hell the no selling and moving from spot to spot was actually that bad, right?

Except… it kinda was. :sadcam:

I’m happy Rosa will get her shine and that Britt can refresh herself away from the title scene (Because at her skill level, she probably shouldn’t be champion for extended periods of time. Her best thing is her character work, and her matches tend to be slow and awkwardly paced more often than not when they’re not under lights out/hardcore rules)

But that was… yeah. Not the best effort, but not the worst. I did like that they didn’t have Jamie’s fine self and Rebel interfere and stay backstage

Nah, Britt is good. There's a reason she's by far the biggest draw in the Women's division. Rosa's win doesn't mean a fraction as much if she didn't have a villain like Britt to feud with

Watching it back, I think they had to cut that match for time and Britt seemed lost when trying to adapt to the time constraints. If they had an extra 5-10 minutes maybe the pacing would have been a little better.
