As weird as it was...this was top 5 smackdown episodes this year... to be entertaining with no crowd shows why some people are highly regarded and puts attention to the underrated that needs to be looked at. Knowing kayfabe is dead, there's nothing bad you can say about this episode

They handled the empty arena show pretty well, I found the Cena and Bray promo engaging with a silent atmosphere

I watched that episode in it’s entirely (first one since Kofi lost the title) and this was very false. Every promo made sense even without a crowd, especially when most of them acknowledged the wasn’t a crowd, whether it was through digs (Sasha, Bayley, Morrison, Miz), or simply how they felt not having one (Roman, Cena). It felt semi-NWA/AWA like, and it was enjoyable. The Reigns promo was good, straight to the point and no nonsense, and Cena/Bray had a very good interaction. I thought Bray stood no chance after Cena went shoot mode, but Bray matched him even though he didn’t really have to shoot on him.
