Feels like that Rollins or Cena segment ran long because the show was definitely rushed afterwards. The weird Cody appearance, cut off ending etc.

Speaking of Cena.. it’s funny how he said he apologized to Rock because he does “weird type of business” and yet continues to do it with his worked shoot promos. Obviously he’s gonna lose but it’s corny to go out there solely to one-up someone when its not helping the story or build

Watched the promo and the only thing that came to mind is Cena put another body into the InCenarator. He buried Theory and made him look like a chump, which is something you don't do to someone who a) is only 25 years old and a potential long-term franchise player and b) was already jobbed out with the MiTB debacle.

Watched the promo and the only thing that came to mind is Cena put another body into the InCenarator. He buried Theory and made him look like a chump, which is something you don't do to someone who a) is only 25 years old and a potential long-term franchise player and b) was already jobbed out with the MiTB debacle.

Come on man. Cena went through the same shyt. The promos leading up to WM 22 with HHH. "Excuse me if I'm not afraid of a guy whose one big move is pumping up his Reeboks".

The difference is Cena was good enough to hang. CAWstin Theory can't hang right now. Maybe someday he will. But the fact that he got bodied so bad in that promo is proof that he's not worth even near the push they trying to give him.

I don’t think he went in to business himself. That’s a little much. I think he’s waiting for these dudes to do their homework like he had to. As much as I disliked that segment and thought he went way over the line, he’s left nuggets about the US title, where he is in his career and what he looks for out of the next generation in previous promos. He gives everyone something to work with. That’s why Punk was so effective against him. That’s why Rock was so effective against him. shyt, that’s why he couldn’t stand Ambrose but respected his promo. That’s why, as someone else already said in a post, HBK and HHH would attempt to destroy him on the mic. They use his words AND his character against him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he told Theory not to use that “I’m here to give you a gift” promo because no one would react to it and he would cover for him and he did it anyways. You have to be willing to trust that he’s here to do business, he’s got your back, and come up with stuff that challenges him. Otherwise, he’ll bury you.

It’s not about cheap shots with Cena, because if you notice he just barely one-ups them on the mic until they make it personal. Cena barely tried and destroyed him because no believed what Theory was saying. He isn’t ready. He doesn’t deserve the push he has.
