It's almost like a ECW situation. I remember I shocked to find out that Taz was designing T-shirts & the Dudleys were shipping the merchandise themselves

Yea, especially when AEW first started. I think it was mostly done so the wrestlers could get health benefits or some shyt(I can't remember exactly) like that, that wasnt covered just wrestling wise. With Page being the champ, idk if he still does it. But I know Avalon still holds his backstage role, his assistant or w/e has a role backstage as well.
