The one thing AEW no doubt, unquestionably has over NXT is crowds size/energy. Even the shows were the crowd had been fairly low energy, there still was way more enthusiasm and henergy in the air than there can be for like 800 at Full Sail every week. Even I can't find a way to spin a negative about the crowds and in fact the AEW crowd energy has really carried a lot of the weak/inconsistent booking.

Darby being the prime example when they give him some big star making role for a show and then do nothing with him for 3-4 weeks, yet he's still about as over as anyone but Cody and Mox. I would also say the crowds singing Jericho's theme has added a real shot of energy and specialness to his segments that were already running stale 2-3 months ago.

nah.

NXT is still building stars that folks can consider jobbers cause they're unknown. They don't tie them to well known folks. (im not counting the women's division of either fed)

Burch and Lorcan, Austin Theory right now for example. The TimeSplitters.

AEW will tie a weak link to Tully Blancard. Or build a Darby Allin by putting him into high profile matches and let him cut loose wile being coached in ring by a Chris Jericho.

The Dark Order feels like a big deal, even though it's full of jobbers.

Even folks bodyguards get steel cage matches with top stars.

It's what I mean when I say promotions benefit from stables/allegiances and blood feuds between stables

AEW has an awful lot of Paul Romas and Mongo McMichaels. You may think they're wack, they may be wack, but you know who they are. Or at least who they're tied with.

It's one of the things that made LU so great, IMO. Everybody had something to do and a spotlight to operate under.

NJPW has used the formula forever. You got somebody like Naito leading LIJ for example and Takahashi and SANADA cook beneath him and sometimes have standout matches and then they will be ready to takeover or lead their own offshoot stables and then Young Lions will step in and be role players under them.

This may just be the best episode of Dynamite yet, IMO. They played off the PPV, built to future angles and feuds very well and there’s plenty to talk about coming out of this episode. Triangle of Death (if we can get a fukking trios division like LU :blessed:) forming, Jake the Snake (:gladbron:) still cutting money promos 30 years later and managing someone (Harper? Archer?) against Cody, Page and the Elite split widening, plenty more. the only real negative I had was Archer being advertised then inexplicably not being mentioned. My biggest knock on them before was no connectivity week to week and building things up but it really feels like they’re hitting their stride and getting the hang of booking a weekly wrasslin show. Great show, definitely motivating me to cop tickets for the April 15th show in Boston

I went to the previous show in Boston. It was a good time but the parking around the arena is garbage.. it's on Boston University campus. Get there early.
I’ve attended concerts there before and I agree. I’d probably end up taking train there and back but :salute: for looking out breh

I have to insist, that last line was the coldest shyt :wow:

Jake sounds like he just revived from the coldest deepest darkest hell imaginable :demonic:

them layers, though. He told Cody for years he put a snake in a bag just to make people think about that snake in the bag, ang once they thought about it, he owned them.

Jake's "client" is that snake. Cody (and us) are thinking about it. (:dame:)

I hate to say it, but I REALLY wish it was Killer Cross. But honestly, AEW got enough evil endboss cult leaders. Though Cross is more like a harbinger/anti-christ/disciple than a cult leader
