then eventually, he tells Piper Niven he has a big crush on her and she simps for him because he's out of her league.

long story short, he uses her, cheats on her,

Johnny and his wife try to help Piper backstage but she doesn't believe it and continues simpin'

then eventually, he turns on her in the middle of the ring and says...

"what's a guy like me looking like with a whale on my arm? I would never take a whale seriously. I was just using you to get on the main roster"

an Andrew Tate style gimmick

This would work during the Ruthless Agg era, but not now
