This fukker Darby really did lose another big match, miss the next week, & then get advertised for another match where he's more than likely losing.

The gap between PPVs is way too long. They started building to Jericho vs Moxley on November 27th, here we are on January 22nd where Moxley became the number 1 contender, & the PPV still ain't until February 29th. They really could have done a BR Live show that they built stuff to so they actually pay stuff off before sidetracking into other stuff. Threw big losses on Darby & PAC just to get where they already where for 2 months.

Jungle Boy Jack Perry needs to be the next star of this company, easily. And I hope they realize it. Dude is young, in crazy shape, has a look (once he gets rid of them weird sideburn things and grab him a chinstrap or even a goatee with the stubble) and definitely has skills that can be built on. The family connection gives an in to mainstream media attention - that video package they showed before the match was some shyt they coulda ran on GMA or something before an interview.
If they could get their shyt together and build a midcard title, dude should definitely be on some kind of show holding that belt before the year is over, talking about his rise, and swinging it back around to pointing people toward AEW with the message of 'we aren't the wrestling you're used to' and using that as a positive for all those people who watched it back when and 'nope'd out from the E.

Honestly he's probably the most can't-miss of anyone they currently have signed. Mark Quen should be in that same boat if dude is capable of talking at all, and if he can't, they need to find him a mouthpiece.



OK I'm gonna say something stupid, and I know it's stupid.

They should bring Enzo in to manage Private Party. Turn them heel on some 'you can't sit with us' too-cool-for-y'all-nikkas shyt with Zo talking for them, run it for a while, and eventually have Quen turn on Cassidy, go face, and make headway.

It's weird to think that about it, but it's very WCW. The group they have at the top had fame from before and are monopolizing the top, but there's guys they brought in to be lower on the card who are clearly the future. It's a position Jericho himself was in in WCW. I hope they see that and are inclined to maybe not make the same mistakes.

If Jack's not a bigger thing before the year is over, AEW has failed, don't care what else they do.
Send Luchasaurus to rumble with Hager, get Marko some acting classes and let him be a little munchkin Jimmy Hart, don't care. They don't need to implode as a team, just focus on their own shyt but still be connected, like what they did with The Shield and even New Day. But if they miss with Jack Perry, then they don't deserve to be spending Khan's money.

Look, though I do agree that companies need to put they talent on tv and protect them to get them over that’s only HALF of the story.

The talent needs to be able to do what they do to get over, going on tv winning and losing ain’t enough and ain’t completely on the promotion.
