Dudes only wanna have this way of thinking when it comes to AEW. WWE has been doing it for decades. It was never a problem during the Attitude Era.

I mean he basically lost on a fluke. Had his move off the top rope that he’s beaten Darby with before, reversed into a crucifix pin, how else could you believably have Darby beat him?

If they were still giving us the "real fight feel", then Darby could've used a weapon when the ref's back was turned. Maybe his skateboard, or Darby could've wrapped of the chains from his jacket around his hand to knock out Cage.
