Jade would've been someone who could've benefitted from being in developmental or the PC. To be fair, she's learning on the go and isn't that bad though. She just needs to work on selling, and it looks too obvious when she pulls back some of her offense.

They could've had Jade win the tournament yet still be protected in a tag team whereas she's gonna be exposed as fukk as a singles champ regardless of how protective her booking will be.
Its basically a case of what protects the investment in Jade better.
Plus you just toss women together and call them a tag team. What else are the majority of these AEW women doing with their time?
