I know this thread probably belongs in the Film Room, but since hip hop is such an integral element in the film, I decided to post this in The Booth.
So I'm watching Belly (for the 1000th time), and it just occurred to me that the whole "Knowledge needs bail money"...
Riding off the success of Wu-Forever which dropped in 97, the Wu-Tang and its close affiliates were able to perform one of the most impressive feats in Hip-Hop by dropping nothing but consistent greatness within one calendar year :whew:

The original Limp Bizkit track had dope production from Premier and Meth did his thing on his verses. I couldn't stand listening to Fred Durst though, so I decided to remove his verses and replace with a verse from Redman. I wish Red & Meth did a whole album over Preemo beats....would've been...
It's ill how the seeds of the Wu grew up, chill with each other and make music together. Wu really is a real family. Young dudes all seem like they have good heads on their shoulders.

I keep coming back to this album and honestly? It's got some of Meth's best work on here. Trim the fat and it would've been better recieved...you can't tell me these tracks still don't go hard
