Was chopping it up with some posters in another thread and they think Lupe was better than an in his Prime DMX. Yeah lupe had better lyrics but X had better content and production and wasn't a slouch lyrically. Just wondering who the coli would rather rock with.

Early DMX when he was reviewed in the Unsigned Hype column in the Source. It just shows you all the major Hip Hop artists that came out of NYC in the last 25 years all go there start on Stretch and Bob. Also can't forget one of the unsung freestylers, Percee P is on here as well.

DMX had at least 4 standout albums. with 1 or 2 of them being classics. the last standout being over 5 years after his debut. that alone is more than the standard run. not to mention all the tours, compilations, guest features, movies, etc.
